Veteran Housing, Severance Questions & Police Accountability

During public comments at the March 3, 2026, Federal Way City Council meeting, I raised several questions about transparency, responsible spending, and effective leadership.

I requested additional information about the Federal Way Farmers Market’s previous season and asked how ARPA funding will be handled moving forward.

With councilmembers preparing to attend the National League of Cities conference, I also asked for a public accounting of the trip’s costs, the sessions each councilmember attended, and the lessons they plan to apply in Federal Way. Conferences should produce meaningful value for residents—not simply another expense.

Finally, I congratulated the seven Todd Beamer cheerleaders who won a state championship by working together as a team. With seven members on the City Council, I encouraged our elected leaders to follow their example and work together more effectively for the community.
