FAMILIES
It all starts at home.
Strong families are the backbone of our community. Unfortunately, many politicians have overlooked a vulnerable segment of society often referred to as the “working homeless.” Today, countless families are just one paycheck away from losing their homes.
Our priority must be to provide housing solutions for families on the brink of homelessness. I believe in giving a hand-up, not handouts. On the council, I will continue fighting to ensure that support is directed toward those willing to work to improve their lives and their families’ futures.
A child who doesn’t have to worry about where they’ll sleep or when they’ll eat can focus on what truly matters—being a child and pursuing an education. Strong families build strong communities, and together we can create a better future for all.
My Plan
Financial Relief
I strongly support initiatives aimed at reducing the financial burdens placed on hardworking families. This would include property tax & utility tax increases.
Economic Development
Encourage economic growth by attracting businesses that create family-wage jobs. This can be achieved through relaxed permitting requirements and targeted tax incentives.
Health & Wellness Care
Lower barriers to accessing mental health services, marriage counseling, and childcare to support the overall well-being of families.
Affordability
Prioritize affordable housing options for first-time homebuyers by reforming development and permitting requirements to reduce costs and delays.
How you can help.
You can help local families by becoming engaged. Attend council meetings and make your voice heard during the public comment section. Your input carries tremendous weight, but we need to hear it first. Together, we can create solutions that restore safety and hope to our community.
